Jeffrey K Mestmaker, CEO & Co-Founder
MP Wealth Advisors

Growing up in Kern County, Jeffrey went through private school attending Garces Memorial High, and then graduating from Loyola Marymount University Los Angeles with a BA in Economics.
During college, Jeffrey was an active member in the SIFE Club (Students in Free Enterprise). Only two years into his membership, Jeffrey attained the rank of Vice President and was awarded for his service “The President’s Student Service Award” from former President George W. Bush, and SIFE’s “Service Leadership Award” from Tom Coughlin President & CEO of Wal-Mart Stores, SIFE’s Chairman of the Board. Currently Jeffrey sits on the advisory panel for Bakersfield College’s SIFE program. Jeffrey also was an active member of the Loyola Marymount Economics Society. Since graduating, he has hosted several discussions regarding the economy and investing to current and past students. He is currently a member of the Young Presidential Donors club, and is an active alumnus.
As an active member in 4-H, he raised hogs for 11 years through Round Mountain 4-H club, holding numerous positions and chairing several committees. This gave Jeffrey his first taste of investing for his college fund with the monies raised from his 4-H projects. Little did Jeffrey know that this would eventually lead him in the direction for not only his education, but more importantly his career.
Most recently Jeffrey worked as a Financial Advisor for Morgan Stanley in Bakersfield California from 2005 to January 2009. While at Morgan Stanley Jeffrey was able to attain top rank of his class and in turn was asked to speak to incoming advisors on how he built his practice at their national training center in Dallas.
In 2009 Jeffrey along with his business partner Daniel Petrey formed Mestmaker & Petrey Wealth Advisors Inc., a Registered Investment Advisory firm. Our goal was to break away from the ideals of a large firm, and create a much smaller, more client centered practice.
